I mentioned  in the March edition about the South West Ship Show at Portishead on 12th April unfortunately there were no shipping movements at Avonmouth or Portbury however the show was excellent and hopefully being held again next year. I was given a leaflet advising that the last British Motor Torpedo boat of its class P 1041 ‘Gay Archer’ is due to visit the Bideford Regatta on the 6th September 2008.
