Back  alongside Bideford Quay it  resumes trips in late March; new  sailing list available at Lundy Office

On Sunday 17.1.2.06, the ex army Landing Craft ‘Ont Menai’ came to Bideford to load construction equipment for Lundy  She  has made numerous crossings since then.

17.11.06 at 11.20 hrs vehicle carrier ‘Chijin’ Owners Chijin Shipping of Manila, outward bound from Portbury ,having sailed at 0750 hrs

17.11.06 at 14.45 hrs, large tanker ‘Advance Victoria ‘74995 tons d.w. Owners Perennial Transport Co and built 2006 inward bound for Portbury with part cargo jet fuel from Ras Tanura.

18.11.06 at 0800 hrs cargo vessel ‘Maya Princess’ inward bound for Newport.

19.11.06 at 0900 hrs container vessel’ Endeavour ‘approx d.w. 7000 tons inward bound for Portbury on her regular run from Spain having just overtaken the coaster’ Irina Trader’ which was bound for Cardiff.

21.11.06 at 0800 hrs vehicle carrier’ Transgard ‘Finnish Flag 10570 tons gross ,outward bound from Portbury, having sailed at approx 0400 hrs seen in very heavy weather.

28.11.06 at 0800 0800 hrs vehicle carrier’ Autostar ‘owners United European Car Carriers of Norway, inward bound for Portbury

6.12.06 at 13.00 hrs vehicle carrier ‘Trinidad’, Owners Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics Norway outward bound from Portbury ,having sailed at 0929 hrs seen in very heavy weather pitching and rolling.

17.1.2.06 at 15.00 hrs vehicle carrier ‘Figaro’ 28529 tons d.w.owners ,Wallenius Wilhelmsen ,Logistics of Norway.

There has been plenty of movement in the Channel but  unfortunately weather conditions have precluded observations.
