My Fifth Day at 'Cliff Dene'
I walk in the coffee bar to look at the sea,
but it's misty and damp,
cars stuck on the ramp,
so not much to interest me.
However, a structure just painted has come into view.
It was rather drab but now looks like new.
The papers applaud it,
the residents laud it,
the Tankerton toilet
it's all in the news.
The best one in Kent
So we have to agree
'Twas money well spent.
